Banzai coach is an interactive tool to help teach people about a variety of personal finance topics. Each coach session consists of a conversational experience—largely text—with illustrations breaking up the copy. Banzai works with illustrators to bring creative solutions to financial issues.

I worked with Banzai on two coach sessions; Saving with a Purpose, and Earning Extra Income. The coach moves through having a vision for a specific savings goals, creating a savings plan, and eventually crossing the finish line of your financial goal. The illustrations I created feature a diverse group of characters pursuing their financial goals in lighthearted ways. I played with scale to bring a sense of playfulness to a topic that can can easily feel too big to tackle.
